A tenant represents a dedicated instance of [[Microsoft Entra ID]] for your organization. It is your organization's identity store where you manage identities and access. A single Azure tenant can manage multiple [[Azure Subscription]]s, but each subscription is associated with only one tenant. When you provision a tenant, Microsoft provides you with an `onmicrosoft.com` domain, where you will need to fill in a globally unique domain name to register the tenant.
